The vendor bought this delightful Ford from Barrs Classic Cars, Tennessee and shipped it back to the U K. The vehicle is in a good, solid condition with no visible signs of rust. It has one or two modifications such as a Louvred Bonnet and a period optional Tri-Power Triple Carburettor set up.
The car is equipped with power steering, although the power ram has an oil leak which will need to be repaired, so at the moment it has been removed and comes with the car. The car is still perfectly useable without the ram as this was an optional extra anyway. There is also a set of spat wheel covers for the back wheels and a workshop manual.
The engine is a Y block of 3900 cc. Described as being in very good condition, the interior is very nice, the mechanicals are good, and the paintwork is described as very good, but not perfect. The vehicle has been used regularly by the owner over the last two years. These Fords are very rare even in the USA, particularly 1954 models, so this is a chance to buy a car which is unlikely to be repeated for quite some time.
