1925 TRIUMPH MODEL P 500cc
Reg. no. TT 3445
Frame no. 907559
Engine no. 214467

The Model P had a good reputation during WW1 for durability and reliability, so Triumph capitalised by putting it into mass production; at one stage they were building more than 1000 bikes a week! At the time it was the cheapest 500cc motorcycle in production, and consequently very popular as family transport, being quite capable of pulling a sidecar. The bike in the sale is in excellent condition having been restored in 2012, for which there are photographs to support works carried out. The engine was replaced at this time, the original was no. 208859. The bike has been in dry storage for some while, so it will need re-commissioning; TT 3445 is now offered with a current V5c, an older V5 and two large folders of history, information and photographs.

Extra details and estimates:

£8,500-9,500

1936 BSA B2 250cc
Reg. no. CXB 625
Frame no. 4930
Engine no. D2984

In the 1930s BSA concentrated on the production of reliable and competitively priced OHV singles, the B series, produced in 250, 350, and 500cc format. The 250cc B2 was only in production between 1933 and 1936, as such it isn\'t a common sight today. This B2 was acquired in its current form by the vendor\'s father in the 1970s, and the bike has been stored ever since. We are told that the engine turns over and that the frame is in sound condition. At some stage the bike was converted to trials trim, with a high level exhaust and folding foot rests. The hand gear change has also been replaced with a lever. Included in the sale is a second engine that is in very poor condition, some gearbox parts and some mudguards, also very poor. These are the remains of a second motorcycle purchased at the same time. There is a V5

1971 FIAT 125 SPECIAL
Registration Number: VAA 561H
Chassis Number: 125A 0295274

The Fiat 125 is a saloon car introduced by Fiat in 1967 and produced by them until 1972. Derivatives were built under license outside Italy until the 1990s. The car was unusual in blending saloon car passenger accommodation with sports car performance, a combination which would be more widely adopted by the European volume auto-makers in the decade ahead.
In 1968 the 125S ("Special") was added to the range, with 100 bhp (from a modified cylinder head, camshafts, inlet/outlet manifold and Weber/Solex carburettor) and, unusually at this time, a five-speed gearbox. It also had one of the worlds first intermittent wipers, halogen lights, servo-assisted twin circuit brakes and optional superlight magnesium wheels. A variety of other improvements were made including improved cabin ventilation, trim and styling.
The 125 was praised when new for its handling and dynamics. British Autocar found the slight understeer tendencies were easily cured by adjusting the front camber. The Special was facelifted in 1971 using pretty much the same trim as the 125S, but both front and rear lights were new and wider, enhancing the visual width of the car. The interior gained upgraded upholstery of the seats and a wood facia. A three-speed automatic transmission as well as air conditioning became available as an option.
This 1971 Fiat 125 Special shows one previous owner on the V5C but appears to have been taken off the road in 1978 and stored for most of its life. There is no history with the car but it has survived well in storage and was recommissioned just over a year ago and is MOTd until May when the new VHI rules come in and it will no longer require an MOT. The car is described by the vendor as being in lovely order with none of the usual rust issues. The paint is said to be excellent, as is the interior and upholstery. The car is an excellent runner that starts first time and goes incredibly well with the 1600cc twin cam engine and 5 speed gearbox. No money is needed to be spent on the car for it to be enjoyed. A Fiat 125S is a very rare find but one in the condition is a one off.
