1990 FORD ESCORT Mk4
Estimate: £1,000 - £2,000.

Chassis number WF0AXXGCAALM68073 - First registered on August 28th 1990 this low ownership example was driven to the Auction from West London a distance of some 450 miles with the vendor and current recorded keeper reporting no issues at all. The previous and second recorded keeper had owned the car for almost 25 years having purchased it when it was just 2 years old. Today the car is presented with an MOT certificate until April 2020 which the owner has commissioned locally. From the MOT history, we can see that the car appears to have covered just over 4,400 miles in the last 13 years.

HISTORICS @ BROOKLANDS

1947 BENTLEY MkIV SALOON
Registration No: JJJ 724
Chassis No: B60AK

Recently re-commissioned by Frank Dale
Runs and drives well

The Bentley Mk. VI was the first post-war luxury car from Bentley produced from 1946 to 1952. It was also the first car from Rolls-Royce with factory coachwork although chassis were still also supplied to independent coachbuilders. The chassis and engine went on to be used as the basis of those in the Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith of 1946 and Silver Dawn of 1949. The factory bodies were made by Pressed Steel Ltd of Coventry and sent to the Bentley works at Crewe for painting and fitting out with traditional wood and leather. They featured rear hinged 'suicide' doors at the front and a sliding sunroof.
This Bentley Mk. VI is presented in black with grey interior. The car had been dry stored for a number of years, however re-commissioning was recently carried out by Frank Dale and we are advised she now runs well. Sadly being sold as part of a deceased estate, the late owner was keen to see the Bentley back on the road hence the reason the car was sent to Frank Dale. This Mk. VI is an ideal project for further time and investment or to be used exactly as she is. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a collection of invoices, this Bentley is being sold without reserve.
