1953 LANCHESTER LEDA SALOON
Reg. no. 261 UYN
Chassis no. 67799
Engine no. 70855
The Lanchester Leda was the export market version of the post-war \'Fourteen\' and was coachbuilt with a lighter all-steel body. This car was bought from Paxford Motors of Moreton-in-the-Marsh who had the car in storage for many years. It was then recommissioned and an electric fuel pump fitted. This low mileage car has a lovely original interior and we are told that it is in solid rust-free condition, and all good underneath. Our vendor also tells us that the car starts easily and runs well, everything working as it should. With only three owners from new, this Lanchester has clearly been well cared for over the years and is now offered with a history file including details on how to use the pre-selector gearbox, brochures, service sheets, a V5c and sundry paperwork
