Isuzu Motors Ltd is a Japanese commercial vehicle and diesel engine manufacturing company headquartered in Tokyo. Its principal activity is producing, marketing, and selling commercial vehicles and diesel engines.

First registered in the UK in September 2021 this superb example is presented in good order throughout and looks excellent. The interior is in very good condition, the seats show little sign of age as does the dashboard and door cards and a Nardi steering wheel is also fitted. The coachwork retains a deep shine and looks superb. Offered with its UK registration document and an MoT test certificate valid until June 2022.

The 1948-1953 Chevrolet Series 3100 ½ ton pick-ups benefited from a redesign that took Chevrolet trucks into a new era of comfort, convenience and style. Chevrolets restyled ‘Advance Design’ trucks were introduced in 1947, well ahead of its first new post-war cars and little changed in appearance through 1953. The basic intent was to provide more room and comfort for occupants. These pick-ups had a new bench seat accommodating three people instead of the old separate seats and for the first time the seat was adjustable for longer leg room. The cab, described as ‘Unisteel Battleship’ construction, was larger in every direction. New extra-wide doors swung open on concealed hinges and extended down to cover the sills. The window area grew considerably via a wider windscreen, side windows and backlight, a vast improvement all-round compared to the previous models.

This Chevrolet truck is owned by a very knowledgeable and fastidious vendor. The red and white coachwork is in unmarked condition and the interior shows little signs of wear. The payload area is unmarked and under the bonnet is equally impressive. We are advised by the vendor that this Chevrolet drives well with no known faults, not that he has used it much! Fitted with an automatic transmission, this 3100 pick-up is supplied with a V5C registration document. A very impressive example.

From working vehicle to stunning head-turner, if this T2 double cab could talk its stories would probably be highly entertaining. With good reason, because today it retains all the charm and personality of when it was a new, modified to reflect the changing tastes of the air-cooled Volkswagen scene. The restoration costs came to £120,000, that sum reflected in the detailing not only to the bodywork and interior but to the underside as well. There is no escaping the panel work presentation, the sides being production line-straight while the shut lines are flush. Brightwork is exemplary, as is the glass. Inside it's a far cry from when it was a working vehicle, with the seats and door cards re-trimmed in a 'waffle' style – the same material also lines the sides of the pick-up bed. . Dashboard and custom steering wheel successfully mix stock and aftermarket while the overhead console houses a trio of extra instruments. Any look at this T2 requires a session on hands and knees to fully appreciate the work that has gone into the out-of-sight areas and it does not disappoint, wherever one looks. A stunning T2 ready for show visits or the local cruise.

1982 AUSTIN MINI PICK-UP

Finished in beige with contrasting green tilt and a black interior, benefitting from new seats and carpets. This superb Mini has come from the most fastidious collector who is having a change of direction. Restored by the previous vendor, the Mini has been part of a private collection that's been used very sparingly. 

A quick spin around the village proved no major faults and a pleasure to drive, could you find one better?!
