From the Air and Space Collection of the scramjet rocket engineer, Professor Alexander Roudakov. Inert 2K12 Kub mobile surface-to-air missile version M3 (NATO designation SA-6). In production from 1968 - 1989 and launched from a tracked vehicle to protect ground forces from air attack. Folding rear fins for transport purposes. Original composite transport sarcophagus included.
Specification of the live missile would have been as follows:
Max range: 24km (15 miles)
Max altitude: 14,000m (46,000ft)
Max speed: Mach 1.75 (1,345mph)
Warhead: 59kg HE fragmentation with contact and proximity fuzes
Length: missile 590cm (232in); sarcophagus 610cm (240in)
