Marshalls of Cambridge converted this Series 2a in 1968 to military specification. The list of special features includes extra fuel tanks, smoke grenade launchers, bead breaker on wing, radios, GPMG machine guns, SLR rifles in wing boxes, flare guns, axle guards, water cans and bladders, sun compass, searchlights plus many other items. 10FG97 has served from 1968 until demobbed in 1984 in Oman (Middle East), Jordan and Kenya (Africa) and Belize (South America). Retaining the dessert camouflage pink paintwork with amazing patina, this particular vehicle has been photographed and featured in many magazines, books and has also been shown on television in service. The vehicle was a US Export and comes with full documents, photographs, full history, data cards and release papers. Fully equipped. Fitted with two copy GPMG Machine Guns with current deactivation certificates and is fully loaded with all the kit ready to show. A V5C Registration Document plus aforementioned history file is included in the sale.
