1952 MORRIS MINOR CONVERTIBLE
During the vendor’s tenure over the past 18 months, this Morris Minor has had a good deal of time and money lavished on her including; a complete new wiring loom, points, plugs, distributor cap, 20/50 oil and filters, rear drop links, front kingpins and trunnions, brake shoes and drums and a plethora of brand new chrome. The original side-valve engine was replaced with an ‘A’ series 948 OHV engine which has good oil pressure at 40PSI at idle and 60 PSI when on the move. The vendor was keen to retain the original trafficators but found that modern drivers under the age of 50 had no idea what they are so indicator lights were installed which run in tandem with the trafficators to avoid accidents. The front indicators have been placed where the original sidelights were and the headlight units replaced with integral sidelights. The interior has been refurbished with beautiful red leather to the original pattern.
Auctioneers Notes
This is a smashing split-screen Minor – I think, the 1000 cc OHVengine, without a doubt, will improve her driveability of this 67-year-old car.  Please ring and make an appointment to view
