Purchased from the German owner and brought to the UK by the vendor in 1994 when it was registered. This Trabant was owned by Herr Rast of Alsleben in the former East Germany. Six months after the "wall" came down, Herr Rast purchased a brand new western vehicle and the Trabant was relegated to being stored in his orchard for three years. The vendor advises that due to it's durability, very little was needed to be done for it to pass it's first MoT. It was MoT'd every year from 1994 until 2010 when it was, again, left in storage until 2017 when it's last MoT was issued at 65,351 kilometres. It comes with the original German log book, German service card, all MoTs dating from 1994 until 2010 and first 1994 V5.. The speedometer records 65,383 kilometres (40,627 miles).
