1965 MORRIS OXFORD MkVI SALOON
Registration No: CMW 201C
Chassis No: M-HS6D165188
 Engine No:16AMWU-H304238

A 1965 Morris Oxford Mk VI saloon, registration number CMW 201C, , grey. The new Pininfarina designed saloon and estate became available in 1959 and they would remain in production until 1971. The Mk VI version, featuring the new BMC B series 1600cc engine, came on stream in 1961 with the less flamboyant final body style, amongst other subtle changes. This particular example has had one owner from new. Our vendor purchased the Morris from A K Kendrick & Co (Engineers Ltd) Westbury, Wiltshire. CMW 201C would remain on the road until 1981 when the car was put in to storage until 2011 when the Morris was recommissioned and new sills and outriggers were fitted. Since then the Morris has covered a very low annual mileage which has bought the total mileage on the odometer up to 65000 miles. Still finished in its original colour scheme of grey coachwork with its original maroon leather interior, this one owner Oxford will be offered for auction with a run of MOTs, some receipts including its first service receipt from Kendricks (31st August 1965) and sundry paperwork. V5, V5C, MOT and tax exempt See illustration
