Another bike from the Andrew Bremner collection and an absolute cracker. Lovingly restored – at some expense – and ready to go.

The Bianchi Tonale is a quality product with a well-made SOHC 175cc engine and some lovely cycle parts – alloy wheel rims, alloy full-width brake drums, twin-loop cradle frame etc. There is an extract from a 1960 edition of The Motorcycle which gives the Tonale a glowing report: “A fast Italian lightweight in the best sporting tradition”.

Supplied new to the UK, the bike has an original buff logbook but does not have a current V5C, although it appears Mr Bremner did start the re-registration process. The paperwork with the bike (dating certificate, photographs, correspondence, notes) should help the new owner jump through the hoops and get it back on the road where it belongs.
