1966 HUMBER HAWK
Chassis No: B0546027760DHS0
Engine No: 054602776
Registration No: MWP811D

This Humber Hawk Series IV Reg No MWP 811D is mot’d till May with no advisories. She has an excellent service record from 2000/2002 onwards, included in the file are 15 MOT’s from 2002 , mileage 46,084 – present day mileage 52,901. In the service bills there are invoices for a new clutch, engine repairs which includes a de-coke and the engine has been modified to run on unleaded fuel. At the same time she had new manifolds, inlet and outlet and a new water pump. The total of all the service bills comes to thousands. In 2016, she was treated to a re-commissioning of the underside. She was completely stripped of any corrosion and any rusted parts were replaced and finally she was wax oiled at a cost of £1,848. The V5 shows 3 former keepers and the previous keeper, Mrs. S. Lavil registered the car in her name after her husband passed away. We believe they owned the car for a number of years. Sadly, the early history has gone astray.
Auctioneers Notes: This is a stunning example of a 1966 Humber Hawk. She is fitted with a 4-speed column gear change and has the advantage of overdrive on third and top. What I like about this car is the totally original interior carpets, seats woodwork etc are in excellent order for their age. It want be long before these Hawks catch up in value like other cars of this period. I recommend you to look at this one.
