ANNUAL CLASSIC CHRISTMAS SALE
SANDOWN PARK, ESHER,
TUESDAY 12th DECEMBER 2017

1968 CHRYSLER 300 2-DOOR HARDTOP

In 1966, the Chrysler 300 Letter Series was discontinued, the 440 V8 replaced the 413 V8, and there was a mild facelift. In 1967 there was a makeover which changed front and rear styling extensively. The 4-door saloon was dropped from the lineup, leaving the 4-door hardtop, the 440 V8 became standard and only available power plant in two guises: base and more powerful TNT. 1968 face-lifting brought concealed headlamps which were to be 300 trademarks until 1971.
This lovely 1968 Chrysler 300 was imported by the vendor, who is the third owner, in early 2017 from Portland, Oregon. It is powered by a nearly new 440 big block with under 2000 miles on it, and is in original condition, but has had a new Pearl White base coat and clear paint job to match factory original. It comes with a new vinyl top, new carpet, new rear upholstery and new rear deck cover. The vendor has spent £3k on brakes and other improvements from Burnham Autos American Car specialist. A rare car in this country and excellent condition throughout.
