FIAT 126

Chassis number SLU0100421 - manufactured by FSM in Poland as Polski Fiat between 1973 and 2000, the model was continually modified during the 1980's with the 1984 facelift utilising parts from the Fiat Cinquecento and subsequently badged as the 126 EL, and 126 ELX which was fiited with a catalytic converter. The cars deminutive size lead to the nickname in Poland of "Maluch" meaning "the small one", pronounced "malux", this nickname became so popular that in 1997 it was accepted by the producer as the official name of the car.
