1934 PONTIAC 603 HOT ROD
Chassis No: 869761
Engine No: Unknown
Registration No: XVV 513
Estimate: £13,000 - £16,000

This outlandish and fantastic 1934 Pontiac 603, now heavily modified to Hot Rod specification, comes fresh from the state of Ohio, where it had two owners from its inception. This magnificent slice of Americana houses a General Motors 350 small block, topped off with an Edelbrook manifold and carburettor coupled with a heavy duty GM TH400 three speed automatic transmission. Reminiscent of Thor calling down the thunder, this incredible machine sounds fantastic particularly as it has chrome side exit exhausts. It has disc brakes all round, rack and pinion steering and coil suspension. It is also equipped with an electric fan and Harwood foam filled safety fuel tank. The frame and original steel body are in excellent condition, the chrome work is bright and with its brand new front tyres and recent rear tyres, it stands out especially well with the chrome wheels. The interior is in great condition with leather seats, full carpeting and deep dish steering wheel and it is fitted with a Thatcham 2 insurance approved Meta ME6 immobiliser and a removable steering wheel.

The present owner informs us that it is great fun to drive with a very responsive throttle and is surprisingly comfortable to travel in. It handles the bumps and potholes with aplomb and, with a reputed 350bhp, this Hot Rod goes as good as it looks and draws admiring glances everywhere. A real show stopper, this needs to be seen and heard to be really appreciated.
