1992 VW 1.8 SPORT CADDY 1.8 INJECTION
The Volkswagen Golf Mk1 is the first generation of a front-engine, front wheel drive, water-cooled small family car manufactured and marketed by Volkswagen — currently in its seventh generation.
As the successor to Volkswagen's historic Beetle, the first generation Golf was marketed in 3-door and 5-door hatchback, 1974–1983, two-door convertible Cabriolet, 1979-1993, two-door Hot Hatch GTI, 1975-1983, as well as the open-bed Caddy
The VW Caddy Sport with the performance of a GTI, and the practicality of a pick up is a unique vehicle with original factory 1.8 fuel injected engine and 5 speed gearbox. These limited edition vehicles were made in very low numbers at the end of Golf Mk1 production. Standard from Volkswagen with GTI suspension, seats, 5 Speed gearbox, arches etc. The example offered here is described by the vendor to be in beautiful condition throughout with a genuine 68,000 Miles on the clock and with the original Service Book and old MOT's. Drives as it should, and it's doubtful it's ever seen 'work'. Far rarer thant the desirable Golf Gti Mk1, this is a rare opportunity.
