1983 Peugeot 104 GL
Registration no. CBC 347Y
Chassis no. VF3104A4106266866
*Comprehensive history supports its 42,00 miles

*Recently re-painted
*A rare opportunity

Odometer Reading: 42102
MOT Expiry:10/04/2020

This car was popular when new but not selling in as great a number as its 205 successor, Peugeot 104 survivors in the UK are seldom seen and this well-presented GL, five-door model is certainly a rare offering. It has a comprehensive history that backs up its 42,000 miles and the bodywork is very good, with a recent re-paint (excluding the roof). External trim and glass, as well as the wheels and tyres, are in good condition. The interior has been re-trimmed and the dashboard, door cards and carpets all present well.

1976 Jaguar XJC 4.2 - Bonhams MPH November Sale Bicester Heritage, Bicester Tuesday 26th November 2019

FEATURED AUCTION

BONHAMS AUCTIONS
Bonhams MPH
November Sale
Bicester Heritage, Bicester
Tuesday 26th November 2019

1976 Jaguar XJC 4.2
Registration no. LCC346P
Chassis no. 2J2226DN
*Original manual gearbox

*Short production run
*Desirable colour combination

Odometer Reading: 33150
MOT Expiry: 16/09/2020

Jaguar's XJ saloon-derived Coupe was a short-lived attempt to create a formal two-door with all the elegance and refinement of the saloon, but with the kudos of a two-door pillarless construction. By its very nature, many left the factory in automatic transmission form, but some were equipped with a manual gearbox, as this 1977 example shows. It is offered in generally good condition, with good bodywork, paint and glass. Trim is also said to be good. The interior remains smart and comfortable. The engine starts and runs well and the running gear is good. Showing a mere 33,000 miles on the odometer and with a comprehensive service history, including many MOTs and invoices from its early life as well as a Heritage Certificate the XJC on offer has been part of a collection for the last decade and presents very well. Recently the XJC has been treated to much recommissioning including belts and fluids. The rare XJ-derived Coupe makes a superb alternative to a Corniche fixed-head.
